One King West is a large hotel in a beautiful old bank building, ideally located in the financial centre of downtown Toronto. The hotel is 10 minutes walk from Union station and with it's own entrance to the PATH (via the old bank vault, very cool!). You can get straight to King subway or Union station via the PATH. This was an absolute bonus during our stay as the weather was both hot and stormy, so we could stay dry and with AC! My husband and I stayed for our honeymoon and we were given a suite with a view on the 34th floor of the tower building. We had a lovely view across to the east of Toronto and down to Lake Ontario. The room had a comfortable bed, tv, kitchenette with fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, dishwasher and a small bathroom with good shower & toiletries provided. Housekeeping were very efficient, keeping us re-stocked with towels, toiletries & coffee, running the dishwasher and cleaning the room to a high standard. We liked Teller's bar (just off the lobby) for happy hour drinks and watching sport on the tv (it was the Euro football tournament during our stay). The morning pastries & coffee from the hotel's Rituals cafe are very nice, as was the brunch we had on our first morning. We also ordered evening room service a couple of times after long days exploring Toronto. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of the room service food & drinks, particularly the pasta & red wine was high quality. Room service was prompt and delivery was friendly and courteous. The gym on the 17th floor is modern & well equipped. It does get a little busy in the mornings as this hotel is popular with business travellers. There are several difference machines, a large weights area, yoga area, male/female saunas and a jacuzzi spa pool. I woke up early with jetlag one morning and had a very pleasant workout with a view over the city.

The location was great - walking distance to great restaurants, bars, the Baseball and the Pier. The rooms were spacious and we had a decent view. Would be good for business, maybe not so much for couples.

tower one suite with a living room (sofa, coffee table, desk and chair, chest with drawers, closet, and a safe), and a kitchenet with sink, stove, fridge, plates, pots and pans, and utensils; deco is modern and up to date, simply, clean. bedroom has a chest, 2 night stands, and in-wall closet, bed is very comfortable. all windows are wall high to provide a great view. very happy with the room. will come back again.

This was my second time coming there for my birthday. I was there last year and the staff I wish I could remember her name but she remembered me from last year and treated me with royalty. I love the way the hotel smells and my view was beautiful. I love it there really.

The location was great. I'd stayed a few years prior and had a fantastic experience with a Tower Deluxe Sweet that was wonderful. It's a really central location where walking everywhere is easy but it is also close to transit.

I absolutely LOVED this hotel. The location is hard to beat - everything is walking distance. The vibe was relaxing. The room was the perfect size with a kitchenette (we specifically booked a room with a small kitchen so that we could eat some quick meals in between adventures), the bed was very comfy, we had all the amenities. The hotel bar had some good desserts. We also had a great view of the city (not sure what part) because we were on the 24th floor. We enjoyed gorgeous sunrises because we were facing the east...they were beautiful. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

Check in was quick, we were provided early access to the room. The bed was really comfy and the room was a good size. The lifts were fast so minimal waiting and the view from the 38 floor was great.
